I was walking past the Llama fields this morning, noticing that there were fewer thrushes today, when I heard what I at first thought was a Song thrush half heartedly singing (and not sounding quite right) from the hedge. I was surprised therefore to see that it was a Redwing and there were 2 more singing further along the lane. That's a first for me I must say.
Apart from that a water rail walking around the pony field was the only other sighting of note.
