Definite signs of spring passage

The last two days have seen the first spring migrants arrive with Wheatears at Clodgy point, Black redstarts (including a very smart male)at Clodgy and Mans head, a "new" Stonechat at the farm (all the resident Stonechats have been wiped out by the last two cold winters), a scattering of Linnets and a few Skylarks flying over. Also a Reed bunting was singing somewhere in the cliff top reed bed at Clodgy yesterday. A male Blackcap was at Ayr field and another was singing along Ocean view terrace. I have found trying to photograph Black redstarts and Wheatears extremely difficult.
